Hello, and welcome! I'm Nell Piper, and I'm so glad you're here.

I believe the best stories leave us feeling as though we've made new friends and visited places we'd love to return to. That's exactly the kind of books I enjoy writing.

My stories range from heartwarming children's adventures to cozy mysteries, clean suspense, and wholesome romance. Still, they all share one thing in common—they celebrate friendship, courage, hope, and the joy of discovering that ordinary people can do extraordinary things.

Many of my stories take readers to close-knit communities where history has a way of hiding secrets, neighbors still look out for one another, and mysteries can appear in the most unexpected places. From Barrow Creek and Moonridge Bay to Elmwood Springs and Willowbrook, each town has its own characters, secrets, and stories waiting to be discovered.

I'm also a great-grandmother, and some of my children's stories have been inspired by the young readers in my own family. Writing stories that can be enjoyed, remembered, and shared from one generation to another is especially meaningful to me.

My novel Murder in Moonridge Bay was honored as a Global Book Awards finalist in the Mystery-Murder category.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me reading, researching, or dreaming up the next mystery, adventure, or unforgettable character.
